If you were to make up a 12 track listing on OUR MEMORIES OF ELVIS Volume 4 - As a Prequel on Elvis tracks 1964 - 1971, carrying on with the late great Joan Deary's vision, then "Hard Luck" would merit an an inclusion in context (along with City by Night , Charro and Anyone (Could Fall in Love) , I posted before).

That song fits perfect in quality and length, near three minutes ! The Criteria being for each track-selection, must be three minutes but not longer than 4 minutes each.

"Over the Months of rehearsing with Ann-Margret and Elvis Presley, David Winters and I became close friends with them . David the choreographer and I worked on many musical numbers for this film. Here’s "What'd I Say?" where I got to be the girl with the red dress on. The great George Sydney directed this film. Lance Lagualt is playing gutar in Elvis band he was Elvis's right hand man and was always his dance-in. in all of Elvis's films.
David, Lance and I put together the choreography and then taught it to Elvis and Anne separately before we brought them together . Here I are the names of as many dancers as I can recognize: Teri Garr, Pete Menefee, Sharon Garret Brooks, Lorine Yarnell, Lance LeGault, Raul Ciro, Sonja Haney, Erwin Marcus, Harrad Sanders, and Roberta Tennis Doitch. comes to think of it (yet again) it makes sense to carry on from Joan DEARY's Undubbed vision and we can have Our Memories of Elvis PREQUEL Volumes 4 and 5 covering the years 1962-1969 "Hollywood material" and 1969-1972 "Memphis and Nashville" but non-movies tracks.

These would bridge the gap on Joan's stellar OMOE Volumes 1-2-3 only covered 1971-1976 material.
